Khabib Nurmagomedov Car Collection: What Happened After the Seizure

Every site still lists these six cars. He does not own them anymore.

Last updated 6 October 2026

Every site still lists Khabib Nurmagomedov’s six cars, from the Ferrari California T to the Toyota Tacoma. On the reported evidence, he has not owned them since July 2024. This is the only profile with the right status in the table.

Quick answer

Six of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s cars, worth about $813,000, were reported seized by Russian bailiffs in July 2024 over a tax debt his camp denied: a Ferrari California T, a Mercedes-AMG GT S, an S-Class, a BMW 7 Series, a Land Cruiser and a Tacoma. His first car was a Lada Priora he sold to fight.

Nine vehicles, and six of them carry a status no other fighter on this site has: Seized. Almost every page on the internet still describes these cars as Khabib’s collection. On the reported evidence, they stopped being that in July 2024. This is the only profile that says so in the table.

The values are the figures reported at the time of the seizure, added up to about $813,000 in cars. They are reported numbers, not valuations we have made, and the years are missing because no source gave them.

Khabib cars seized: what happened in July 2024

In July 2024 the Russian Federal Tax Service opened a procedure against Khabib Nurmagomedov over a reported tax debt of about $3.4 million. Reports followed that court bailiffs had seized his car collection and the family house in Dagestan, together worth about $900,000, of which about $813,000 was cars.

The original reporting came from the Russian outlet Mash and from Championship Rounds, and was picked up by Western media including MMAWeekly and EssentiallySports. We have not seen a court or tax document. That is why every seized car on this page is Reported in substance, even though the status label says Seized: the label describes what the reports say happened, not something we have verified with the Russian state.

His camp denied that there was a tax debt. In August 2024 a representative said the debts had been paid, according to Caucasian Knot. Both statements sit here next to the seizure reports, because a reader deserves all three and we do not know which one ends the story.

What we do know is that no credible source has shown any of the six cars with Khabib since. Until one does, the status stays where the July 2024 reports put it.

The seizure list, car by car, and what it adds up to

The six cars and the values the reports attached to them. The figures are the ones published in July 2024, not our valuations, and they add up to the reported total.

SpecValue
Ferrari California Tabout $300,000
Mercedes-AMG GT Sabout $161,000
Mercedes-Benz S-Classabout $122,000
BMW 7 Seriesabout $101,000
Toyota Land Cruiserabout $85,000
Toyota Tacomaabout $44,000
Reported total, carsabout $813,000
Reported total with the family houseabout $900,000
Reported tax debtabout $3.4 million

Two things stand out in the arithmetic. The cars were worth about a quarter of the reported debt, so the seizure, if it happened as described, was a lever rather than a settlement. And the house was valued at less than the Ferrari, which says more about property prices in Dagestan than about the house.

What car does Khabib drive now?

Nobody has reported it. That is unusual for a man who was photographed with a Ferrari, an AMG and a Land Cruiser for years, and it is consistent with the seizure reports. The honest answer is the short one: we do not know, and neither does anyone who claims to.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is from Dagestan, retired undefeated at 29-0 in 2020 as UFC lightweight champion, and now coaches, among others, Islam Makhachev. His nickname, The Eagle, is the search term most fans use for this page. His garage, as this page shows, is a story with a before and an after.

Khabib’s Ferrari California T

The California T was the most valuable car on the seizure list at about $300,000, and the one that got the headlines. It is Ferrari’s folding-hardtop grand tourer, sold from 2014 to 2017, with a twin-turbo V8 in the front and seats for four at a push.

For a fighter from the mountains of Dagestan it was an unusual choice, and for years it was the car that stood for his success. The reports do not give the colour or the year of his, and we have not found a post of his own showing it. More on the model on our Ferrari page.

Ferrari California T specs

Ferrari’s site did not return a specification page when we checked, so these are the published Ferrari figures as recorded on Wikipedia. They describe the standard car.

SpecValue
Engine3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8, front-mounted
Power560 PS (553 hp) at 7,500 rpm
Torque755 Nm
0 to 100 km/h3.6 seconds
Top speed315 km/h
Rooffolding metal hardtop
Production2014 to 2017

The T in the name stands for turbo. The California T was the first turbocharged road Ferrari since the F40, and it set the pattern for every V8 Ferrari that followed. The folding hardtop is why it was the Ferrari for people who wanted one car for everything.

Khabib’s Mercedes-AMG GT S

The second car on the list by value, at about $161,000, is the Mercedes-AMG GT S. It is the two-seat coupe AMG built as its own car rather than a tuned Mercedes, with a long bonnet, a short tail and the engine set back behind the front axle.

Like the Ferrari, it appears in the seizure reports by model name only. No year, no colour, no post of his own. Status Seized, on the same reporting as the rest. The brand’s other cars on this site are on our Mercedes-Benz page.

Mercedes-AMG GT S specs

Published figures for the original AMG GT S coupe, checked against the recorded Mercedes-AMG data on Wikipedia.

SpecValue
Engine4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 with dry-sump lubrication
Layoutfront-mid, engine behind the front axle, turbos inside the V
Power510 PS (503 hp)
Torque650 Nm
Gearbox7-speed dual-clutch, mounted at the rear axle

The dry sump is the detail that matters. It lets the engine sit lower in the chassis, which is why the GT S has the stance it does. The turbos sit between the cylinder banks, which keeps the engine short and the exhaust routing simple. It was AMG’s answer to the Porsche 911, and it was priced like one.

The S-Class from Kadyrov, the BMW 7 Series and the two Toyotas

Four more cars were on the seizure list. A Mercedes-Benz S-Class at about $122,000, which several sources describe as a gift from Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya. A BMW 7 Series at about $101,000. A Toyota Land Cruiser at about $85,000. And a Toyota Tacoma at about $44,000.

The two Toyotas say more about Dagestan than the two German saloons do. The Land Cruiser is the car of the Caucasus, the one that handles the mountain roads between Makhachkala and the villages. The Tacoma is a working pickup. Between them they are the practical half of a garage whose other half was a Ferrari.

The S-Class carries a note. We list it as a gift because MMAWeekly and EssentiallySports say so, but the status in the table is Seized, not Gifted, because the seizure is the later and more consequential fact. Where a car has two stories, the table shows the one that describes where it is now.

The Lada Priora he sold to fight

Before any of the above, there was a Lada Priora. It was his first car, and he sold it to pay for the early years of his MMA career. Status Sold, and the most important line in the table.

The Priora was AvtoVAZ’s mainstream saloon, built from 2007 to 2018, with a 1.6-litre engine and a reputation for being cheap to own and easy to fix. It is the car a young fighter in Dagestan would have driven, and it is the car he gave up to become one. Every car that came later traces back to that sale.

No price, no year, no photo. Khabib has told the story and the sites that cover him repeat it. That is enough for Sold, because the story comes from him.

The 1987 Mercedes 300E that was written off

The oldest car on the page is a 1987 Mercedes-Benz 300E of the W124 generation, reported at about $39,500. It was written off after a crash. Status Written off, a label we use only here.

The W124 was the E-Class before Mercedes called it that, and the 300E was the straight-six version, with 190 PS from a 3.0-litre engine. It is the car Mercedes built its reputation for durability on, which makes a write-off the only way one normally leaves a garage.

The Mercedes V-Class from A1tuning

The last line is a van. A Mercedes-Benz V-Class Exclusive, customised by A1tuning, appears in press coverage as part of his fleet. It is Reported: the tuner and the press describe it, Khabib has not shown it, and it was not on the seizure list.

A V-Class makes sense for a man who travels with a team. It is the one vehicle on this page that was bought for other people to sit in.

How we checked this garage

The seizure story has one origin and many copies. The origin is the Russian outlet Mash, picked up the same week by Championship Rounds, and from there by MMAWeekly, EssentiallySports and the regional outlets in our sources list. We traced the car list and the values back to that first reporting, and every later version repeats it without adding a document.

That is why the page is careful with its words. Seized is the status in the table because it is what the reports say. Reported is the grade of the evidence, because nobody outside Russia has seen a court order and his camp said there was no debt.

Caucasian Knot’s August 2024 line, that the debts had been paid, is in the article for the same reason. It is the latest word from his side, and leaving it out would tilt the story.

The older cars are simpler. The Lada Priora story comes from Khabib himself and is repeated everywhere. The 1987 300E and its write-off, and the A1tuning V-Class, come from the same press coverage as the seizure list. Specifications for the Ferrari and the AMG use published manufacturer figures as recorded on Wikipedia, because Ferrari’s own page was empty when we checked.

How his garage compares

In our UFC fighters car collections 2026, Khabib is the only fighter whose main garage is in the past tense. The reported total of about $813,000 in seized cars is more than Alex Pereira paid for his Huracan and less than the reported value of his Aventador SVJ alone. It is a long way short of the eight-vehicle list of Conor McGregor.

The closest comparison is his own student. Islam Makhachev has one Confirmed car, a Land Rover Defender he was given after UFC 322, and a reported Mercedes-AMG G 63. Teacher and student both started with Toyotas and Ladas in Dagestan. Only one of them ended up with a Ferrari, and he does not have it any more.

Every profile in our Celebrity car collections 2026 hub uses the same labels, which is why Seized and Written off appear here and nowhere else.

FAQ

What car does Khabib drive?

No credible source has reported a current car since July 2024, when Russian media reported that his six cars were seized over a tax debt. His camp denied the debt. Before that, his collection was led by a Ferrari California T and a Mercedes-AMG GT S.

Were Khabib’s cars seized?

Russian outlet Mash and Championship Rounds reported in July 2024 that bailiffs seized six cars worth about $813,000 and his family house over a tax debt of about $3.4 million. His camp denied a tax debt, and a representative later said the debts were paid. We have not seen a court document, so the cars carry the status Seized on the basis of those reports.

Did Khabib own a Ferrari?

Yes, a Ferrari California T valued at about $300,000 in the seizure reports. It was the most valuable car on the list. It has a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 with 560 PS and a folding hardtop.

What was Khabib’s first car?

A Lada Priora. He sold it to pay for the early part of his MMA career, which is why it appears in our table with the status Sold.
